Billboard Reveals Top Facebook Live Videos Of 2019, With Lots Of EDM
Every year, it seems that new media mediums are popping up. And if they’re there, why not track them? Billboard developed its own Top Facebook Live Videos chart, a monthly look at the widest-reaching and most-reacted-to videos posted by musicians on Facebook Live, as tracked by media analytics company Shareablee. The stats are tracked on a month-to-month basis, and now that the year is ending, it’s time to look back on the top 10 Facebook Live Videos of 2019.
Three different sets from Tomorrowland 2019 made the top 10, as well as one from Ultra Japan, and another from Ultra Miami. Writes Billboard, “[Oliver] Heldens’ upload received the most reactions (122,000) of any Facebook Live video posted by a musician in 2019, and the clip was watched 1.7 million times in its first seven days.”
The other videos on the list include Yanni (#10, 4m views), Guns N’ Roses (#6, 2.4m views), Luke Bryan (#5, 2.9m views), Yanni (#4, 4.2m views), and Ana Barbara (#3, 3.4m views). Both the videos for Oliver Heldens and W&W (#2 and #1, respectively) have since been deleted.

Rankings are determined by a formula that blends reactions, comments, shares and first-seven-days views. For the year-end 2019 list, the top videos of the year are compared to one another using the same formula, using the tracking period of Dec. 1, 2018, through Nov. 30, 2019.
