Marshmello concert lights up Fortnite’s Pleasant Park

EDM artist Marshmello staged a special show in Fortnite’s Pleasant Park now, playing a short set for gamers that showed up to get a round of Battle Royale. The show featured several songs by Marshmello, several light, and a couple of suspensions of the laws of gravity.

Players that jumped into Battle Royale in 14:00 ET Saturday got to watch Marshmello perform ‘rsquo & reside; on a special stage setup at Pleasant Park. Respawning was allowed, so everyone got to see the entire functionality, which comprised Everyday (with fellow performer Logic) along with his struck Happier. Holograms of Marshmello joined in on the dancing floor, also in ‘Mello’s word, showgoers were abruptly bouncing around the area, leaping rooftops and above the stage.

After the beat dropped on Marshmello’s Fly, everyone present found themselves literally suspended in the air as if they had just jumped from the battle bus. They swooped round the stage and through the beams of light projected across the square.
