Ryan Murphy released a look at his series Halston
Iconic American style designer Roy Halston–many closely correlated with 1970s glitz and glam–is becoming a biopic courtesy Ryan Murphy (the creator of The Assassination of Gianni Versace). Ewan McGregor plays Halston, that rose to prominence after he designed a pillbox hat Jackie Kennedy in 1961, heading to start his own line in 1969 and becoming the designer of choice for the Studio 54 set. At a since-deleted Instagram post that shared a teaser of their Netflix series,” Murphy wrote, “After a lengthy 20 decades of twists and turns, the limited succession Halston starring the fantastic Ewan McGregor started production today. I am so proud of our director and pioneer Dan Minahan, and Christine Vachon of Killer Films. I’m thrilled to be producing this fantastic and purposeful show together and Alexis Martin Woodall and Pamela Koffler. ”
