Papa Khan Drops Stunning “BLOSSOM” EP on Marshmello’s JoyTime Collective

A song-cycle of sublime, innovative bass music.

Bass music’s Prodigal Son, Papa Khan, has returned with a gigantic four-track EP. Doubling down on the explosive success of the breakthrough single”Rain,” the Indonesian young gun has launched BLOSSOM, a song-cycle of sublime, advanced electronic music.

Papa Khan’s BLOSSOM EP is really a natural fit on Marshmello’s JoyTime Collective bannerads. Devoid of the saccharine tastes of Mello’s past sounds, all the album’s four monitors collided with a riddim ferocity whilst remaining under a melodic umbrella. It is a formula which Papa Khan has concocted with precision, and represents a beautiful dichotomy for bass fans looking for bass songs with stuff.

After kicking off the project with”Rain,” Papa Khan follows using the aptly-titled”Utopia,” a upcoming riddim bomb drops comprising the exact forward-thinking synth syncopation as it’s predecessor. “Diary of a poor kid” follows, major listeners in with a siren song of brooding strings before uncorking a stunning melodic snare drop. He then closes out the EP with its titular monitor, linking a bow to the project using a successful future bass ballad.

It is possible to find BLOSSOM on all streaming programs here.
