Can there be more? Oh you gamble there’s more. Allow ’s dig .

Alok, “Kids on Whizz”

Brazilian phenom Alok drops “Kids On Whizz,” his rework of 2020’s “Charlie” by the UK duo (and brothers) Everyone You Know. Rife with “Can’t Feel My Face”-degree euphemisms about a specific white substance historically well known in clubland, the already alluring track goes even deeper on this edit. Alok yells the BPM and provides a couple of little layers into the already heady tropically-laden deep home manufacturing, while leaving the standout hook — which the producer says initially attracted him into the tune — in tact. “When we released ‘Charlie’ we never in a million years thought a person with as much burden and clout as Alok would reach out to rework the track,” the Everyone You Know bros gush at a statement. “It’s quite surreal and hasn’t entirely sunk in that we’re working together with Alok, yet we’re completely buzzing to find out this and can’t wait for everyone to hear it. ”

Mikey Lion, “Above the Clouds”

Some monitors bounce, some monitors throttle and a few monitors actually uplift. File “In The Clouds” in this latter category. The new track from Mikey Lion, the de facto mayor of SoCal’s Desert Hearts crew, is aptly named — it divides your ears, your arms and likely your mood too with its fairly, smoky shimmering synth melody, driving percussion, piano stabs and the thick bassline which adds the foundational heft that keeps the entire thing from drifting away. “In The Clouds” is one to put on repeat and functions as the lead single from Lion’s coming album For The Love, out April 28 on Desert Hearts Records.

TroyBoi, “Eyez on Me”

TroyBoi is among those musicians whose able to work across myriad styles while still always striking precisely exactly the identical disposition: sexy, slinky, kinda rowdy and raunchy in the right ways. This vibe is all around the English manufacturers aptly named V!bez, Vol. 4, which features six fresh productions such as “Eyez On Me. ” This track is your second collab betwixt Troyboi and sister vocal duo Nina Sky, who linked for the 2015 breakout Diplo collab “After Hours. ” This time around, the trio strike a balance between R&B and the squelchy, thumping but nevertheless sorta complicated productions that this Boi has made his name . Beyond that, there’s really no weak link on the EP, which also has an edit of Anita Ward’s 70s anthem “Ring My Bell” also marks the official release of  “On My Own,” which racked up a trendy 72 million flows when it landed in 2015.

Lee Foss & Ferreck Dawn effort. Alex Mills, “The Void”

The truth is that dance music doesn’t have sufficient saxophone solos. Chicago-born, LA established home mainstay Lee Foss and Dutch veteran Ferreck Dawn remedy that with “The Void,” a home anthem with just the right amount of sax. Just how much sax is that, you ask? Quite a good deal! The brass provides a funky thread into the lush track, which features vocals in London singer Alex Mills. The only, along with a couple remixes, are outside today via Foss’ very own Repopulate Mars tag.

Röyksopp & Robyn, “Monument” (Olof Dreijer Remix)

In 2014, Röyksopp and Robyn published their enormous (and so aptly named) “Monument. ” Coming from the collaborative EP Do it Again — which hit No. 1 about the Dance Album graph in June of 2014 — the moody, hypnotic tune was sonically and commercially large, serving as the soundtrack into a Volvo commercial starring the Swedish dance pop queen. (“It’s not a commercial about a vehicle; it’s a commercial about a method of thinking,” Robyn stated of this endeavor in the time.) Seven years later, “Monument” gets a new life with a remix by Olof Dreijer of revered Swedish digital duo, The Knife. Under Dreijer’s attention, the plodding tempo of the first is sped way up, with a coating of tropically-influenced percussion driving a completely lighter, but resonant “Monument. ”
