Taylor Swift declared Wednesday that she’d release “You All Over Me (From the Vault)” first thing Friday, forcing fans to some never-before-heard song which has been awakened through sessions for Swift’s 2008 album Fearless. February 2019: Maren Calls Performing With Taylor “Transcendental”
After she had four months to process the performance, Morris opened up to Billboard to the red carpet in Clive Davis’ 2010 pre-Grammy celebration about what booted up with Swift intended to her, then calling the chance “transcendental. ”
“We had been in my hometown, in the Cowboys stadium in Texas, and I just chose to watch her job all day,” Morris recalled. “And I’m obsessed with her. I think she’s a trailblazer. April 2020: Maren’s Husband Drops a Taylor-Approved Cover of all “False God”
Maren isn’t the only Swiftie from the household: Morris’ husband, singer/songwriter Ryan Hurd, is also a large fan, covering “Dress” from Reputation on his visit and discharging a Taylor-approved cover of “False God” from Lover on his 2019 album Platonic. “Thank you @taylorswift13 for the song clinic,” Hurd tweeted alongside a live movie. “My favourite song from Lover. It appears like the Taylor comparisons early in Maren’s livelihood weren’t off-base: When Morris’ “The Bones” ruled Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart for an 11th week about the list dated May 23, 2020, it turned into the longest-leading No. 1 by a solo female without the extra artists, passing Taylor Swift’s “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together,” which controlled the chart for 10 weeks beginning in October 2012.

To get Swift’s 31st birthday, Morris sent love to her friend — and place some wishful thinking out to the world. “Happy 31st, @taylorswift13. March 2021: Maren Calls Taylor an “Overachiever” for Her Two 2020 Albums
In the 2021 Grammys, Morris spoke about how impressed she was with all the musical output throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, particularly from her prolific pal. “The imagination of my peers here tonight even, what theyrsquo;ve generated in such a bizarre, surreal time in time is perhaps some of their best work,” she told The Associated Press. “I mean Taylor, for example, placing out two records, she’therefore, such as, [an] overachiever.
