Benny Blanco Lets His Lips Loose About Accidentally Kissing Beyoncé
What happens in the Hamptons doesn’t necessarily stay in the Hamptons. Case in point? Benny Blanco didn’wont keep his lips sealed about what occurred one night in Beyoncé along with Jay-Z’s house a decade back.
In an interview with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe on Wednesday (March 24), the celebrity manufacturer revealed how close he got to Queen Bey while staying within her house in the Hamptons about 2010, and how his “really European” greeting went southwest.
Blanco recalled participating in a beat struggle with other manufacturers such as Hit-Boy at the petition of Bey. “I’theres playing with beats, also Jay-Z is there and also we’re just drinking, chilling. He’s up to me and that he ’so freestyling within my ear, so ” he informed Lowe. And I’m enjoy, ‘Jay-Z is sitting , getting drunk with me Beyonce is singing small riffs, and he’s freestyling within my ear. And now we ’re about to all go in the pool after. ’ It’s all these minutes, I’m enjoy, ‘How is this my life?’ ”

But that’s not “the craziest story” yet. On the third night of his stay, the “Lonely” artist debated how to properly bid adieu to one of the biggest pop stars. A hug? A simple “Bye”? A kiss on the cheek?
“I’m very European. You go in and you do that. … And I went to do like, kiss on the cheek, and I guess we just missed a little bit. And just like, I definitely hit the corner of some sort of lip. I’m like, ‘Oh my God. This is the worst thing in my life,’” he explained. “And I’m sitting there, and as I’m doing this, from the corner of my head, Jay-Z is there looking at me. And I’m just like, ‘My lip is here. Hers is there, also there’s ’s definitely some corner things are occurring. ’ And I look at Jay and I’m enjoy, ‘Oh, OK. I’m dead. My life is over. It was terrific. Nice knowing you guys. ’ This guy is going to maintain a coffin tomorrow. My life flashed before my eyes. And I’m seated there, and I seem. And then, he’s enjoy, ‘All right, bro. See you tomorrow. ’ Like, nobody noticed. ”
Though Blanco and Beyoncé never produced music which has been released from that excursion, he outlines the lessons that he learned from her Hov as the “greatest ” encounter because to him“it’s on the trip. ” Blanco has observed Billie Eilish’s travel from the beginning, attending her very first shows of just 100 or so people in the crowd once the “Ocean Eyes” singer was just 13 years old. While her budding profession eventually awakened, Blanco along with Finneas’ budding friendship helped songs like “Lonely” with Justin Bieber come about and prosper.

Blanco along with the Biebs achieved it jointly on Saturday Night Live past October. Blanco includes co-written and/or co-produced a number of the greatest pop hits of this past decade, such as Kesha’s “TiK ToK”; Katy Perry’s “California Gurls,” featuring Snoop Dogg; Maroon 5’s “Moves Like Jagger,” featuring Christina Aguilera; and Rihanna’s “Diamonds,” he had also shopped around to Kanye West and Eminem. (“This really can be actually the best song I’ve ever done,” that he added, noting, “This is how life works, complete circle. Kanye West does a remix to the song. ”) But it’s not something that he says out loud from the studio.
“So it’s like I’m just sitting here waiting for that magic to hit. Whenever it is. And I’m sitting here in existence, waiting patiently for it to hit and I’m not likely to press .
