Paring down an entire year’s worth of songs is no easy feat.

2018 saw the explosion of songs including ZEDD‘s “The Middle” along with Calvin Harris along with Dua Lipa‘s “One Kiss,” dominating both the dance music charts as well as the radio airwaves. Ear-catching tracks such as these, along with fan favorites such as FISHER‘s persuasive “Losing It” along with Anti Up‘s fun “Pizza” wiggled their way into festival places around the world and — love them or hate them — stood out as notable tracks which do their part in immortalizing this whirlwind of a year.

We likewise saw an ingenious collective of remixes surface in 2018, including Rinzen‘s persuasive carry on deadmau5 along with Rob Swire‘s hit “Monophobia” along with Skrillex‘s intoxicating rendition of Travis Scott‘s “Sicko Mode. ” We celebrated the return of Gesaffelstein using “Reset” and welcomed new projects from Diplo at LSD along with Silk City. We welcomed collaborations out of Ekali, Medasin, along with Elohim at “Forever,” Tiësto, Dzeko, Post Malone, along with Preme in platinum smash hit “Jackie Chan,” along with ZHU along with Tame Impala at “My Life. ”

Finally, however, we’ve narrowed 2018 down to 30 tracks that stole our hearts and smashed flowing records.
