Marshmello Breaks Billboard Dance Chart Record

Marshmello Breaks Billboard Dance Chart Record

Marshmello now holds the Billboard Dance
hit.

Marshmello’s”Happier” has shown

Record-breaking
staying power on peak of the
Billboard Dance/Electronic chart. The
collaboration with Bastille has seen 34
consecutive weeks in the #1 place, netting it the longest tenure at
song on the graph and # 1 for any dance.

Zedd’s “Stay” with Maren
Moris and Grey was the former holder of the title with 33 weeks to its title.
The Chainsmokers’ and Halsey’s
“Closer” had the third-longest run. Avicii’s “Wake
Me Up” and The Chainsmokers’ “Something Just Like
This” with Coldplay round out the top five,
respectively.

Paradoxically, Marshmello himself stands to dethrone
“Happier” from its top position. His collaboration with
CHVRCHES,”Here With Me” currently holds #2 on the
Billboard Dance/Electronic chart.

“Happier” first hit #1 on Billboard’s Dance/Electronic graph on
September 29th, 2018.
