Marshmello Scores The Longest-Running No. 1 On Billboard Dance/Electronic Songs Chart

Marshmello‘s “Happier” with Bastille is currently the longest-running No. 1 dance song of all time.

Billboard‘s Dance/Electronic Songs chart has witnessed the hit at No. 1 for 34 weeks. “ The Middle” by Zedd, Maren Morris and Grey held down the top spot for a total of 33 weeks, or so the song comes in second. The Chainsmokers’ “Closer” featuring Halsey is currently the third only.

While “Happier” is dominating the Dance/Electronic Songs chart, it didn’t hit No. 1 on the Hot 100. Peaking at No. 2, it did come close though.

There s no telling Marshmello’s reign will last. However, currently sitting at No. 2 on the Dance/Electronic Songs chart is his collaboration with CHVRCHES, “Here With Me. ”
