Marshmello Extends His Branded Empire With Kids’ Animated Series, ‘Mellodees’

It’s ’s not an exaggeration to say that Marshmello is the branded artist of our creation. With a simple mask and (initially ) anonymous identity, the notion that Marshmello might be anybody was enlarged to “anybody could be Marshmello. ” As Rolling Stone points out, his white helmet was the most “bestselling Halloween costume in Spirit Halloween Stores last year. ” And unlike 99 percent of EDM artists, 40% of the audience on his YouTube channel is below the age of 13.

Maybe it was the strategy all over, or because his audience will ’ t attend his own shows and is youthful, Marshmello’s branding is much more than just his songs. It’s his whole identity… or lack thereof.

Bettering his branded empire, now he “surfaced Mellodees, a YouTube animated series about a singing robot,” aimed at kids between two and six years of age. Marshmello himself might only make two or a cameo, but he created the setting and all of the songs,” writes Rolling Stone.

His music reflects this in its bubbly synth sounds along with a marshmallow that is easy, his emblem, is something many people can connect with in the event you still indulge in s ’ mores every once in a while, from when we were children — or now.

A children that are branded ’s show was the next step that is clear. The Rolling Stone feature delves more into just how The Shalizi Group executed the branding from the beginning, and you’re able to browse it here.
